AESTROS

The story of Common Fate takes place on the planet of Aestros, one that has many similarities as Earth. With its adjacent nature, one may find many familiar creatures in the fields and forests and seas, save for minor differences.

Despite this, Aestros exists on a different plane--one of fantasy. Many humanoid races live in vastly different cultures and habitats around the globe. The era can be equated to the 9th century period of the medieval ages, albeit with a variance on technological advancements with the help of such differently formed biomes and sentient inhabitants. And most importantly of all, Aestros has a quality that can only be dreamed of in our world: the existance of Magic. Although not of the same powerful quality as the wizards of Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings, magic runs through the universe of Common Fate.
